Reflection: Joy Immigration Week Lesson Six of Six - Section 2: Enrolling Activity: Narrated Immigration Journey

Throughout the week this week, students have really enjoyed stepping into the shoes of an immigrant.  Our principal has made this a fun experience, and the students made great connections to what we were reading in class.  It has become something that they look forward to every day!  After completing this activity, and a similar activity with my Titanic week, I've asked my principal if we could record a video of her "Immigration Updates"  for future years.  We'll be working on this project for the upcoming year!
