Reflection: Relevance Khan Exponent Rules - Section 1: Assessment Overview

I find that the series of exponent activities on Khan Academy can be done all in a row or spread out. They can be placed anywhere in a unit with success. I don't worry if students are perfectly prepared for any particular exercise at any time. Instead, I use these assessments to review, to challenge, as they seem to fit.

In a digital environment my students approach the problems with excitement, most of the time. Using these Khan lessons enables me to spiral over the same concepts, giving students the opportunity to experience them in a self-paced, feedback intensive environment.
