Reflection: Checks for Understanding Volume of Multiple Objects - Section 3: Closer

 

By having students question and comment to other students, I am able to check for student understanding.  I can do this by monitoring the types of questions and comments being given and the type of responses reciprocated.  This is a great way to check for student understanding because the students are doing all the work and all I have to do is to listen.  I can tell if students have an understanding of volume and the task by the level of their responses.
