Reflection: Pacing Myth Madness: Writing Wrap Up - Section 3: On to Round 2

Pacing is always a problem. It is difficult to determine exactly how long it will take to get through a unit. In this case, I need to end the Myth Madness unit quickly in order to complete a unit on the literary element of theme before the school year ends. The good news is that students are showing improvements in their writing skill and knowledge of this type of writing, even the struggling writers. Another benefit is that allowing the students to create projects lessens my workload because I have fewer written assignments to grade :)
