Reflection: Joy Island of the Blue Dolphins: Summarizing Literature - Section 1: Cue Set

Scholars loved watching Duck Dynasty!  It is a show that they love and it was lots of fun for them to see it in class today.  It also helps students to feel as if the classroom is theirs as well as mine.  I am not constantly dictating exactly what we should do, I consider their feedback and use their interests as often as I can.  This creates a positive and safe learning environment.
