Reflection: Writing Across the Disciplines The Final Draft: Day 2 of 2 - Section 4: Independent Practice

Writing is a difficult task for students, however, using the graphic organizers, modeling, giving the students time to work, and using a subject matter that students like helps make the process a little easier.

I have found that by putting students in rotations gives the teacher a little more time to meet with the students one on one or in a small group for feedback and encouragement.  The small group rotation also gives students a time frame of when they should be finished as well as an organized activity of what to do when he/she is finished writing.
