Reflection: Complex Tasks Interrupted Journey: Expressing Complex Ideas in Writing - Section 4: Independent Practice

Due to the complex nature of the PCR, scholars did not have the opportunity to get to independent rotations today.  Instead, I extended the guided practice to allow scholars the opportunity to finish their PCRs.  My ELL co-teacher and I divided the room in half and spent the entire time conferencing with groups in our own half of the room.  We touched base 1-2 times within the lesson to make sure that we were on the same page and teaching/coaching in the same direction.  This worked very well and I believe it will make scholars more successful on the quiz tomorrow!
