Reflection: Routines and Procedures S.M.A.R.T. goals for Physics - Section 5: Closure

Within this lesson, I had students create goals using this SMART Goal Handout to help them take ownership over their learning outcomes. I believe that students who help to design their learning outcomes and are more engaged in their learning will show larger growth over the course of their physics instruction. With this in mind, I will refer to the goals that students create today throughout the entire course to help students track their progress toward achieving and exceeding their goals.

S.M.A.R.T. goals for Physics

Unit 1: Building Your Base
Lesson 1 of 12

Objective: Students will be able to use the results of their study skills baseline to create S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely) goals.

Big Idea: Patience, time management and teamwork are essential skills for studying physics.
