Reflection: Rigor Construct a line of best fit - Section 2: Play of the Day

 

This year, I prepared a select group of 8th graders to take the high school Algebra I Regents exam, for the first time aligned to the Common Core.  One of the additional standards was to be able to contruct a formal (not informal) line of best fit using a graphing calculator. 

The attached lesson can be a resource to use in teaching this, if so desired.
