Reflection: Adjustments to Practice Assessment: Presentation on Exponential Functions Day 2 of 2 - Section 3: Student Reflection

 

Some students struggled with the vocabulary and the presentations and some students struggled with being able to simplify the exponential expressions on the written assessment.  It seemed like more students struggled on the written assessment than on the presentations.  In the students comments on the reflection, I think students were more successful when having a partner for the assessment.

Objective: SWBAT complete presentations of an exponential graph with their partner from the previous lesson, and complete a written assessment on exponents.

Big Idea: To be able to SHOW MASTERY in simplifying and rewriting exponential expressions with reasoning.
