Reflection: Adjustments to Practice The Library Question: Can it Survive in its Current State? - Section 2: Application: Inside the Library

(Though, I searched extensively, was unable to find a link to this resource even with the all the pertinent information.  This speaks VOLUMES about the very topic. The fact that it is a video shows how outdated the resource is, but that they didn't see fit to covert it to DVD is even more telling. Using an almanac in book form just isn't as relevant anymore.)

This paragraph is in the regular section, but I wanted to copy it here.  If a teacher would like to create this activity without the video, it isn't difficult.  All a teacher would need to do is make up a list of questions that the kids will use the almanac to find answers to.  They simply race one another.  It's a fun and easy way to practice using the almanac.
