Reflection: Safety "Firework" Analysis Activity - Section 1: Anticipatory Set

When requesting students to share their understandings, findings, ideas, etc., it can feel rather intimidating for some of them. I try to model a spirit of continuous improvement, where mistakes are perceived as opportunities, and successes are looked upon as just another step forward. I have established a culture where it is better to be wrong and fix it than it is to just continue being wrong and unaware of it.  This process requires a great deal of patience and consistency, but the results are entirely worth the effort, without question.
