Reflection: Standards Alignment Inferring Meaning From Text Events - Section 2: Vocabulary Lesson

Its important that I teach students how to decipher words in context for it to be applicable to their testing environment. A strategy I often use is semantic word maps. In this lesson I added this component for my struggling students with a few of the misunderstood words to help them determine the meanings as they are used in text. Here's an example of a semantic word map and how the word associations help students determine meanings.
