Reflection: Standards Alignment Kenny & the Dragon Day Six: Chapter 10 & Chapter 11 - Section 5: Recording Abridged Summaries

 

Publishing digital books is new for me this year.  In order to meet some of the speaking and listening skills, students need to publish digital presentations throughout the year.  One tip I would offer is to write your rubrics in a generic way, without naming particular platforms or software.  You'll notice on the rubric for this project I call it "an engaging audio recording..."  I never mention brand names like Camtasia, Audacity, or Google Drive.  This will help as newer software comes along, and our technology changes, but our standards don't.
