Reflection: Performance Tasks Speech! Speech! Speech! - Section 1: Advanced Organizer

Having the students present in front of the class creates a little more of a sense of urgency to do a good job! They were all excited and nervous today!

I knew that they would need a few minutes to calm their nerves and a way to get the "jitters" out of their systems.  By allowing them to work with a partner to practice their speeches, they were able to have a little fun and build a little confidence with the task.

I still had a few students very nervous presenting, but overall it seemed to really help them get through the task!
