Reflection: Grappling with Complexity Beginning, Middle, End! Let's Chain It All Together! - Section 3: Teacher's Turn


I read this book with an Elmo to the kids because my library did not have copies for a class set and I have several levels of readers. Not all of them read at the same rate and at the same ability level so I want to ensure they are all starting with the same information. In this book, there is some vocabulary and idioms that make up a more complex text, so I thought it would be better to use correct pausing and intonation to share the story aloud with the kids.
