Reflection: Classroom Setup Poetry Cafe Culminating Event - Section 2: Poetry Cafe

In years past, I've set up food as part of the Poetry Cafe. I've done elaborate treats like tea, coffee, muffins, and bagels, or some years I've kept it simple with juice and cookies. While the students and guests (mostly the students) really enjoy snacks and drinks, there are some years where I skip them completely because of food allergies, cultural food restrictions, or simply a lack of time or funds. Either way, the Poetry Cafe ends up a great success and an event that everyone enjoys. It is up to each teacher to decide if they'd like to offer food or not.
