Reflection: Lesson Planning Blogging Re: The Expertise Book Redux - Section 2: Guided Practice: Blogging Time!


I have one important "cautionary note" in this reflection -- have students complete this prompt the DAY AFTER they finish reading their books (or at least the day after your due date for the reading).  

I waited too long to ask for this bit of writing on their blogs, and I got some erroneous results.  Students answered the prompt AFTER finishing or at least late in the drafting process for the Argument of Fact, and their answers/responses are "tainted" but the "expertise book" as (merely) a reference for an essay and not as a "stand-alone" text.
