Reflection: Flexibility Modeling Rational Functions - Section 3: Modeling Inverses of a Rational Function


One risk of lessons like this one that feature a lot of modeling, is running out of time.  I think that it is better to spend the time on great discussion and not get to portions of the lesson than to cut the discussion short.  The discussion on domain and range of the IHOP problem was so great that we didn’t have time to look at the gift scenario.   In future years, I may add a day to this lesson to ensure that we have time to fully discuss both problems.
