Reflection: Intervention and Extension Colonial Market: Market Day! - Section 2: Teaching Strategy

 

In order to help scholars organize their money, I gave them money trays that I labeled with a Q, D, N, P for quarter, dime, nickel and penny. You can just get a stack of trays from your cafeteria.  This way, when scholars interacted with customers, they could easily organize their change and make change for the customer.  This worked SUPER well!!!
