Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding Similarities and Differences in Text about Apples - Section 3: Partner Work

The books I used were on the topic of apples, but one had the different things that can be made with apples. They were leveled readers from our old reading series. The other was about how to grow apples. This is a huge problem. The students could not compare. I recommend using books that deliver the content differently, but the content is basically the same. Check out the student work (Student Work). It is below basic and notice that one student included their opinion in the first box (Student Work with Opinion).

I needed specific pages in each book with a similar main idea labeled with a sticky note.
