Reflection: Performance Tasks Writing an Opinion - Editing - Section 3: Assessment

 

According to various Writing Continuums, it is developmentally appropriate for students to make some punctuation errors. I constantly reinforce end punctuation in student writing, but put more focus on ideas and organization. I provide mini-lessons if there are grave errors, such as no punctuation.
