Reflection: Pacing My Opinion: Paragraph One - Section 2: Setting a Purpose


Depending on how well your students complete this task and how much time you have, this lesson could be combined with tomorrow’s lesson on writing paragraph two. Because my students are still fairly new to the process of opinion writing, I wanted to leave as much time as possible for talking with partners and conferring. However this really isn’t necessary if students are more comfortable with the process as a whole.
