## Reflection: Shared Expectations Draw & Subtract - Section 3: Independent Work

It is always important to set expectations when using manipulatives. I explain to my class that these marbles are to be used as math tools and not toys. I inform the class that any child not using the marbles as a math tool will have their marbles taken away.
