Reflection: Unit Exams Ruby Bridges Unit Assessment - Section 2: Assessment

 

I have found that when I use the CCSS to build and design my questions on an assessment, my questions are more text dependent and cover a broader range of the standards than when I don't design my questions around the CCSS.  I would suggest looking at the standards when designing an assessment and asking questions on the assessment based on the CCSS.

Objective: SWBAT show what they have learned about Ruby Bridges as well as similarities and differences in firsthand and secondhand accounts of the same story.

Big Idea: In this lesson, students will get to show what they have learned about the differences between a firsthand and a secondhand account of a story as well as what they have learned about Ruby Bridges during this unit.
