Reflection: Writing Across the Disciplines A Study of the 3 Branches of U.S. Government - Section 4: Closure

 

From this activity of writing relative to social studies, my scholars clearly see through the use of a graphic organizer that our federal government has an effective system of checks and balances.  I explain to them that the founders of our great nation put these checks and balances in place so that no one branch of government would yield too much power.
