Reflection: Unit Exams Unit Assessment of Addition and Subtraction of Fractions With Like Denominators - Section 2: The Test

In this video clip, I show different ends of the spectrum and evaluate student's for thinking, trying to understand some gaps in their conceptual understanding. Fractions as it applies to the whole is still emerging. Is it developmental? They certainly had a lot of practice and one on one help after the second quiz showed some problems with understanding the whole and decomposition. I will spiral this around again before we end school for the two students who did not master it.
