Reflection: Connection to Prior Knowledge WIW Graphing Inequalities - Section 1: Launch

 

We used the "post-it" style coordinate grids to launch class. As we traded the graphs, students could quickly see if they shaded correctly. The focus was more on where the shade fell than whether the graph of the inequality lay. We may revisit with the sticky graphs to  make sure everyone was comfortable with finding the answers.
