Reflection: Modeling Solving Inequalities - Section 2: Explore

I originally thought that students could solve the inequalities with partners then we could model solutions to the whole group. I had to make an adjustment by having students come to the smartboard as partners. The whole group walked the pairs through the solution. It went well because they could still work at their seats with the partner. I believe the frustration came with just the change of symbol. I saw them able to solve the equations but the inequality symbol seemed to be a point of frustration. Once we successfully solve some of them, we were able to move forward.
