Reflection: Connection to Prior Knowledge Percent of a Number - Section 1: Launch


We just completed a lab using bar diagrams to find percent values. This problem of the day was to determine if they knew how to apply that strategy to another problem-or even if they still needed the strategy. A few students were able to solve the problem without drawing the diagram. The majority of the students used the diagram to help find the answer.
