Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding Percent Inquiry Lab - Section 2: Explore


This lab provided very strong concrete understanding for the students. It is sometimes hard for them to make the leap with knowing what percents actually represent. 60% does not equal the number 60. We were able to bridge that understanding with them being able to actually see the proportional relationship between the two values.
