Reflection: Grappling with Complexity Team Time! - Section 2: Interact with text/concept


This lesson is about citing evidence from the text, which is a big focus in Common Core.  In kindergarten, evidence can come from the words and/or the pictures.  Learning how to ‘read’ the pictures is a major part of the reading process for beginning readers.  They learn that they gain understanding using both words and pictures.
