Reflection: Students with Disabilities My Daily LIfe - Section 3: My Life Writing Response

When pairing students for the activity, I pair helpful, good readers with students that have special needs. This way their is a confident and helpful reader that can model how to complete the annotations. The note taking process becomes easier.

The writing process could be difficult for these students as well. One obstacle for students that have disabilities in writing and sometimes in reading, is the amount of writing we are asking them to complete. I ask these students to focus on creating three sentences from their notes that is correctly structured. Basically, I am asking them to focus on the sentence structure and practice paraphrasing.
