Reflection: Performance Tasks End of Unit Assessment - Section 5: Assessment Interview

This assessment is packed with great information and will give you great insight on who your students finished the year with these number and operation skills.  However, their ability to be proficient with these particular tasks did not just come from working on the activities in this unit.  These are skills that I have woven in throughout most of my lessons in this sight.

I start working on facts and the "tens" idea in September.  This continued and rigorous focus allows for fluency to develop by the end of the year.
