Reflection: Student Ownership Its vs. It's: A Matter of Correct Usage - Section 3: Closure


This lesson went very well.  They took the news of the state report issue seriously. Many hadn't bothered to look at the graded reports, and were unaware of the problem.  The only interesting part to me was how many thought I'd made a typo toward the bottom of Its vs. It's by the asterisk.  This part is the definition of each word, so it's not a typo.  This may want to be pointed out ahead of time, or just have an awareness that it's not a typo.

General consensus was the lesson helped make them conscious of this common mistake.
