Reflection: Staircase of Complexity Kids At Work: Perspectives Workstations - Section 2: Workstations

My students all worked really well with me at the teacher station today. Surprisingly, a few students had a really hard time coming up with evidence to go with a different viewpoint once we got into the "choose your own" section. I had to do a lot of prompting to get some students thinking. I liked that my groups were heterogeneous today because the students who go it served as peer models and it gave me the opportunity to work almost one on one with the students who needed some extra support today. The kids liked coming up with their own topics and got pretty creative.
