Reflection: Vertical Alignment Finding 10, Finding 20 - Section 3: Station Time


I am starting students on complements of 10 or 20 based on assessment down throughout the year. All but one of my students is secure with their complements of 10.  However, I want to double check fluency for ten with a few of my students and then allow them to move onto complements of 20.  

You will want to make sure that your own students are secure with ten before moving onto twenty. I have already spent some time making the connection to ten and twenty.

Big Idea: The students will work on teams of two or three to work on their ability to fluently identify complements of ten or twenty.
