Reflection: High Expectations Time to the Half Hour - Section 3: Independent Practice


Here is my lesson reflection on a student work example.  For some of my struggling students, I taught them to draw a line from the hour hand to determine if the hand was on the hour, or half past the hour.

Objective: SWBAT write times to the half hour shown on analog clocks.

Big Idea: It’s about time! In this lesson students will begin to understand the concept of time and the relationship of the two moving hands on the clock.
