Reflection: Positive Reinforcement Your Work is a Present (so present it)! - Section 3: Daily Practice

Two very important things happen in the academic feedback portion of this presentation process!

1) When students tell each other what they did well, it helps build a culture of respect and trust between the presenter and their classmates.  Positive feedback from one student to another does a great job to help create a more positive classroom environment!
2) When students take time to listen to each other, and then ask questions in response to their friend's ideas, they are really having to think deeply.  When our students have to truly listen and then think up a question, they are cultivating ideas in their heads that depend on information that was read- this is an important shift in the Common Core!
