Reflection: Conferences Text Structures: Time to write – Cause and Effect - Section 2: Mini-Lesson

 

Students will be doing their rough drafts in their Reader’s Notebook for all five Text Structures. During the Independent Practice portion of Reader’s Workshop, it is a good idea to check in with students, either one-on-one or in small groups to make sure they are on track, that their paragraph makes sense with Cause and Effect, and help them revise and edit their writing so it is ready for the final product, which will be completed at the end of the unit.
