Reflection: Lesson Planning Journey to Gettysburg - Section 2: Application I: The Set-up

Using my AAA Membership was helpful in acquiring the tools and sources for this activity.  The United States road maps were free, as were the Pennsylvania Tour Books, via a scan of my AAA card.  Getting the new Tour Books was a bit of a problem because there were few in stock, which I didn't anticipate.  With seven 2002 editions of the Tour Book, it wasn't an issue about having enough, but I had sought to update to 2013, due to price increases used by the kids in the activity.

But....complications can inspire new ideas.  The four groups with the 2002 editions compared their money spent with the three groups using the 2013 editions in a later activity.
