Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding Now I understand! - Section 3: Enrichment/Homework

The first step to understanding and regulating emotions is to be able to recognize and label the emotion you are having.  This game will extend students' knowledge and vocabulary of feeling words.  Having students remember and share a story will connect the bullying curriculum to their own lives.  Students will have the opportunity to empathize with each other through sharing of stories.

The homework will continue to build on the exercise of labeling emotions in self and recognizing emotions in others by facial cues.
