Exit tickets are important information that give me valuable data. I generally know which of my students struggle, but sometimes a student flies under the radar and I don’t notice how much they may be struggling. I will use the exit ticket to pull a small group tomorrow.

Objective: SWABT solve word problems for each operation by identifying key words and important information.

Big Idea: If students can write a word problem, they can break a word problem apart to make it easier to solve.
