Reflection: Student Ownership Crafting Story Problems (Day 1) - Section 3: Independent Work

I think it’s very important for students to be part of the learning process within the classroom and one way to do this is to play a role in creating our work. Students often think of questions and information that I don’t think of, and it’s fun to see what they come up with. I also think students look more closely at the problems when they aren’t sure what operation, or combination of operations, that they will need to solve it.
