## Reflection: Modeling Correlation and causation + mixed review - Section 3: Huddle

A note about teacher modeling – I generally do NOT ever do solo teacher modeling (in other words, "watch what I do..."). Instead, I always try to engage kids in a series of questions that builds on their understanding of mathematics to get into the new material, and we reveal the math together.  Of course, the level of teacher guidance here varies from day to day, but there is never an occasion when there is straight teacher modeling without questioning student thinking.
