Reflection: Online Resources Concept Definition Map Practice - Section 4: Closure


This is a solid lesson, and I like the idea of adding the video component to the informational text in order to develop a complete concept definition map. The adjustment I'd make doesn't have to do with the lesson itself.  Although we had standardized testing in the mornings this week, I pushed on with curriculum this afternoon, and it wasn't embraced.  They enjoyed the two videos- short, interesting, and to the point- they just didn't want to take notes. 

My advice is to avoid doing a lesson like this at a time like this, just because it fits into the time slot perfectly.  It was fine, but I don't think as many did their best work.
