## Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding Double Digit Division Task-2 Days - Section 3: Closer

I really think that the turning point for students in their ability to rationalize this task was showing them the video.  Once they had a grasp of what we are working with - what we are trying to do makes sense. Now, they had a much easier time deciding what steps to take.  I could see the light bulbs going off as they were watching this video.  They were quite amazed at the actual process of sod replacement.

Our access to a world of free resources, including video, is there to be tapped to help our students make meaning of the contexts of our application of math.
