Reflection: Unit Planning Draw the Dot-Draw the Conclusion - Section 5: Let's Work Together

 

There is a combination of skills that the students are using in this lesson. This is almost the last lesson in my inferencing unit, so my students are pretty good at inferencing. Here's an example of how they make a good inference in this lesson.

I wanted to use that skill to help them make conclusions about what they have read. This is an important skill, and one that shows up on many district and state assessments. ('What can you conclude about....?)
