Day Four of Plaid Pete's Star Lab

Unit 5: Plaid Pete is Finding Earth's Place in the Universe
Lesson 11 of 13

Objective: SWBAT make an argument supported by evidence that the observable patterns of the different positions of the stars at different times of the year, explains Earth's movement.

Big Idea: How can the patterns of constellations help us to explain Earth's movement? Students analyze pictorial data to discover patterns that reveal Earth's movement upon its axis, and use Data Analysis Cards to interpret and communicate their data.
