Objective: SWBAT analyze the good and bad that might come from a volcanic eruption using readings, videos, and prior knowledge.

Big Idea: Where we live we have an extinct and dormant volcano. These mountains have given us a beautiful place to live and students will explore some of the reasons that make them important while also dangerous.
